Toastmasters Spring 2008 Conference!

Our District 46 2008 Spring Conference will be held on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 at the Woodbridge Hilton, located in Iselin, NJ.

Previous Conferences have been successful mostly because of committee volunteers - fellow Toastmasters who assisted in the preparation and execution of the Conference. WE NEED YOU AGAIN THIS YEAR!!!

Overall, you can choose to volunteer on one (or more) of 15 committees. Below is a Volunteer Form that breaks down the different types and a specific request to volunteer for the Facilities Committee. Of note, volunteering on a committee provides you the following benefits:

· Reduced Conference Registration Fee!!! All volunteers who work on a committee will only be charged the "Before January 1, 2008" Fee ($10-$20 Savings)!!!

· Networking opportunities

· Listening to and learning from some of District 46's best speakers and leaders

· Assist Committee Chairs obtain their High Performance Leadership (HPL)

BECOME PART OF THIS HISTORIC CONFERENCE!!! District 46 has become so large that it will split. All Clubs East of the Hudson will remain in District 46 and all Clubs West of the Hudson will become District 83. This means we will be electing all new officers for both Districts (46 & 83). Of note, even though Staten Island and Rockland County are part of New York State, those counties will be included with District 83.
