Medco Toastmasters continue their winning tradition!!

Congratulations to Susan Garavaglia, our club's VP of Membership. On September 25th, Susan competed and won second prize in the Area 51 Humorous Speech Contest. Larry Kaplowitz from UPS took home first prize.

Susan is a very talented speaker and has won numerous club and area contests in the past. Glad to see the tradition continues!! Great job Susan!

Medco Toastmasters earn distinguished award

Under the presidency of Susan Garavaglia, Medco Toastmasters has earned the coveted Distinguished Club Award from Toastmasters International (TMI).

This achievement required Medco Toastmasters members and officers of the club to work together to earn educational awards, membership, and reporting goals.

For the 2007-2008 Toastmaster year (which ended June 30th) Medco Toastmasters increased its club membership by 9 new members, had 7 offers participate in required TMI officer training two times per year, delivered timely reports to TMI headquarters by the required deadline, and earned a leadership award. Congratulations are in order for Medco Toastmasters on earning the Distinguished Club Award.
